“My entire career has been about building accountable systems, managing complex programs, coordinating across government agencies, and ensuring public resources are used responsibly. I’ve overseen multi‑million‑dollar budgets, led infrastructure and community development projects, and built partnerships across sectors and countries. As a County Commissioner, I bring decades of experience in transparent management, measurable results, and public service — and I’m committed to making county government work openly and effectively for the people of Tippecanoe County.”

⭐Why I’m Qualified
Tippecanoe County deserves leadership with the experience, integrity, and practical skills to manage county operations openly and effectively. My career has prepared me for the responsibilities of County Commissioner in every way.
Decades of Executive‑Level Program Management
I’ve spent more than 25 years designing, managing, and improving large public programs across universities, nonprofits, and international development organizations. I’ve overseen multi‑million‑dollar budgets, supervised teams, and built systems that deliver results.
Experience Overseeing Infrastructure and Public Services
From coordinating community development projects in Tajikistan to managing agricultural and economic development initiatives in Colombia, I’ve led complex, multi‑stakeholder efforts that required strong planning, accountability, and measurable outcomes — the same skills needed to oversee county roads, facilities, and public services.
Strong Financial Stewardship
I’ve managed federal and international grants, written successful proposals that brought in tens of millions of dollars, and ensured compliance with strict reporting standards. As Commissioner, I will bring that same level of responsibility and transparency to county contracts and spending.
Policy Design and Accountability Systems
Throughout my career, I’ve developed policies, protocols, and monitoring systems that improved how organizations operate. Commissioners set administrative policy for the county — and I have decades of experience doing exactly that.
Coalition‑Builder Across Government and Community
I’ve worked with local, national, and international government agencies, universities, nonprofits, and community groups. Effective county leadership requires collaboration, and I have built partnerships my entire career.
Grounded in Local Experience
As an Extension Educator with Purdue, I got to know the challenges small farmers face, and the opportunities they have to revitalize communities by adding value to farm products right here in Indiana.
As a Special Education teacher in Tippecanoe County, I worked directly with families, students, and community systems every day. As a parent with a special needs young adult, I interact with systems and communities that support people with special needs.
I understand the challenges our residents face because I see them up close.
